Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Brandi Lassiter’s heart for long-term care began early. At 17, she stepped into the field as a part-time geriatric aide and activity assistant, discovering quickly how meaningful it was to support older adults and be part of their daily lives. Those early experiences shaped her commitment to the profession and set the foundation for a career spent caring for residents and leading teams with purpose.
Brandi holds an associate’s degree in nursing and her Nursing Home Administrator license. After completing nursing school, she returned to the same skilled nursing facility where she began, serving as a floor nurse before advancing into leadership roles including Staff Facilitator, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Director of Nursing. She served as a DON for seven years before beginning her Administrator-in-Training at Chowan River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Brandi has served as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 2015.
Today, Brandi leads Northampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with a focus on creating a steady, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. Her experience across clinical and operational roles gives her a strong understanding of what teams need to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Emily serves as Director of Nursing at Northampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she leads a dedicated team focused on consistent, resident-centered care. With 20 years of experience in long-term care, including leadership and MDS roles, she brings strong clinical insight and a deep understanding of the long-term care community.
Guided by Principle LTC’s commitment to Care and Nurturing, Emily values meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff. She believes quality care is built through trust, teamwork, and truly knowing each resident’s history, routines, and preferences.

Deborah Lathan, our Admissions Director, began her journey here in 1996 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Over the years, she’s grown with us, taking on various roles, including Medication Aide and Activities Director, which she pursued after continuing education at Halifax Community College. Her inspiration to join healthcare came from the compassionate care her own grandmother received from Home Health Staff.

In her current role, Deborah oversees admissions with dedication and a deep belief in giving everyone a chance for change. She values our facility’s unique team spirit, where everyone pitches in to provide the best care possible. Deborah’s passion is making a positive impact in people’s lives, helping them along their journey to better health and well-being while reducing the administrative burden for family and loved ones.
